Job summary

NBCUniversal in New York is seeking a Director of Compensation to oversee the strategic management of the company's deferred compensation programs. You will partner with Legal, Payroll, Finance and external providers to govern program strategy, operations, and compliance.

The role requires a strong analytical mind, executive presence, and proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, deliver executive-level reporting, and ensure accurate taxation and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Knowledge of nonqualified deferred compensation plans and 409A rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of the Company's deferred compensation plans, including enrollment and distributions.
• Partner with Payroll, Tax, and Finance to ensure accurate processing and taxation.
• Build trusted relationships with executive participants and HR leaders as SME.
• Ensure compliance with 409A and related regulations governing nonqualified plans.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, including system implementations and program enhancements.
