Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks a Director of Compensation to oversee the strategic governance of deferred compensation programs and align them with broader compensation initiatives. You will partner with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and external providers to ensure compliant plan operations and accurate reporting.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, provide executive-level analyses, and design programs that balance long-term strategy with operational execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Knowledge of nonqualified deferred compensation plans and 409A rules.
• Advanced Excel with data analysis and financial modeling.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of deferred compensation plans, including enrollment and processing.
• Partner with Payroll, Tax, and Finance on taxation and reporting.
• Serve as SME and primary contact for deferred compensation matters.
• Manage relationships with recordkeepers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with 409A and related regulations.
• Support executive communications and reporting on deferred compensation.
