Job summary

EY-Parthenon in New York seeks a Director for Strategy and Execution in Deal Management within Financial Services—Insurance. You will lead operational projects, shape transaction strategies, and guide pre/post deal engagements while mentoring teams.

You will leverage EY’s AI-enabled tools, build senior client relationships, and drive value with strong negotiation and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience.
• MBA is preferred.
• Significant experience in an M&A consulting environment working with financial services clients, including banking and capital markets.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
• The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• In person teaming, at client site or in an EY office, a minimum of 60% of the time or on average 3 days a week over the course of an engagement, project or performance year.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop experience across a range of engagements including pre and post deal phases.
