Job summary

Spark Foundry in the United States seeks a Director of Data & Platforms to lead global governance of data across a key client, working with Security, Privacy and AI Review processes for 15+ media partners. You will translate complex data practices for technical and non-technical audiences and manage multiple reviews with strong project governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital media, advertising technology, data platforms, media operations, or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of how digital media works and data usage across the ecosystem.
• Experience navigating data governance, privacy, security, or AI review processes.
• Ability to create, interpret and present data flow and architecture diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent project management with multiple partner workstreams and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and stewardship for Security, Privacy and AI Review across 15+ media partners.
• Oversee end-to-end Security, Privacy and AI Risk Assessment submissions for partners.
• Manage data-sharing reviews: Pixel/SSF, mobile app data sharing and first-party audiences.
• Gather inputs including data retention, cross-border transfers, and AI safeguards.
• Collaborate with client Security, Privacy and Technology teams to complete questionnaires and submissions on time.
• Develop reusable materials: data flow diagrams, architecture diagrams, reference numbers.
• Create educational materials for Legal, Security, Privacy and Technology stakeholders.
• Provide progress updates to Global Media and continent teams; communicate risks and next steps.
• Operate independently with limited oversight while maintaining governance across reviews.
