Franklin Fitch is seeking a Senior Director of Product for Data Governance to establish and lead a modern data governance function focused on governance, privacy, risk, and AI oversight across a complex regulated environment. The role emphasizes building and scaling a governance operating model and partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Security, Engineering, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across product management, data governance, data management, or related leadership functions.
• Experience leading governance, privacy, or enterprise data programs within regulated environments.
• Proven success establishing or significantly maturing enterprise data governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Data Governance Office, including governance frameworks and stewardship models.
• Define and execute the enterprise data governance roadmap across data discovery, access governance, and AI governance.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to implement governance policies and automated controls.
• Operationalize governance frameworks across data quality, metadata, privacy, security, and master data management.
• Embed governance controls throughout the data lifecycle, including analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise systems.
