Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Director of Data and Platform in the United States to lead a hands-on AI engineering team. You will own data architecture, platform infrastructure, and DevOps, delivering end-to-end data lifecycle management from ingestion to BI.

The role combines architecture, software development, and people leadership, with direct reports from day one in a small, fast-moving healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience architecting and building production platforms.
• Proven hands-on ownership of data architecture across ingestion, ETL, transformation, extracts, reporting, and BI.
• Strong DevOps experience, including designing, deploying, operating, and scaling production systems and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to write and ship production code.
• Hands-on experience with modern data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Postgres, and/or MySQL.
• Experience handling PHI/PII data, and data-management practices.
• GitOps workflows, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, ETL and transformation, extracts, reporting, and BI layers.
• Lead the architecture and operation of DevOps and infrastructure supporting AI engineering.
• Establish technical direction, architecture standards, and engineering practices across data infrastructure and platform reliability.
• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade systems, while writing and shipping production code.
• Develop scalable, observable, maintainable infrastructure with minimal manual intervention.
• Build and lead the data and platform organization, including hiring and mentoring.
