Job summary

Garner Health seeks a Data Engineering Manager to lead the Data Platform Team in building scalable data infrastructure for internal and external apps. You will set standards for data modeling, processing, and system reliability while championing AI-native development and fast, safe delivery.

The role requires guiding architecture, mentoring engineers, and aligning work with company OKRs to improve healthcare data outcomes. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on engineering in Big Data and distributed systems.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams and mentoring colleagues.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, EDI) preferred.
• Proficiency with modern data tooling and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Platform Engineering team, end-to-end design and ops.
• Set data modeling, processing, and maintainability standards.
• Build scalable data abstractions and pipelines.
• Translate business data needs into architectural plans.
