Job summary

Jobgether SRL partner company is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to guide secure, scalable software for clinical research operations. This remote role is based in the United States and drives engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery excellence.

You will lead hands-on design, architecture reviews, and release processes while advancing AI-enabled development and maintaining strict compliance standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven enterprise software delivery and production support.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) preferred.
• AI-enabled engineering practices and tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, and support of secure, scalable software for clinical research ops.
• Translate requirements into production-ready apps, APIs, data services.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across design, architecture reviews, development, and code reviews.
• Own release management, deployment, production readiness, and escalation processes.
• Improve SDLC standards: code quality, testing, CI/CD, version control, change management, release governance.
