Job summary

Resonate, a remote-first leader in AI-powered marketing data, seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to drive discovery, design solutions, and lead technical demos for enterprise brands and agencies. You’ll partner with Sales Executives to scope client needs, translate requirements to actionable plans, and guide data-driven decisions across RFPs and pilots.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years in technical pre-sales or solutions architecture/sales engineering.
• Genuine consultative approach: diagnose the problem and design around it, not just feature tours.
• Working knowledge of adtech, martech, and data ecosystems.
• Expert knowledge of privacy regulations around handling first‑party data.
• Deep familiarity with data append deliveries, file matching, and match-rate conversations.
• Proven ability to build credibility with senior marketing, insights, and commercial stakeholders.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a growth-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with prospects, defining business problems, data environments, and success metrics.
• Scope and design solutions, coordinating internal teams to win the deal, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Act as a trusted advisor translating technical requirements into business decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Build and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for remote and in-person sessions.
• Run pilots, proofs of concept, and data testing, guiding subsequent implementation engagements.
• Convey Resonate's point of view on privacy, identity, attribution in client conversations and events.
• Relay client needs and platform enhancement requests to Research and Product teams.
