Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a Director, Data Foundations, Automation & Information Infrastructure to lead a high-caliber team delivering trusted, scalable data assets powering reporting, analytics and AI across Commercial Banking in North America.

You will own end-to-end data lifecycle, drive modernization, and collaborate with governance, security, and technology partners to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in data management, data engineering or a related field with leadership of data teams.
• Deep expertise in ETL and data pipeline development, data modeling and data quality management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and modern data programming languages such as Python.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Data Foundations strategy and roadmap aligned to priorities.
• Design and maintain data architecture and models for curated data assets with long-term usability.
• Lead ETL pipeline development and ensure data production is accurate and timely.
