Job summary

Achieve in the San Mateo area is seeking a Director of Product Management to own the Data Platform and the Agentic AI Platform. You will define the platform strategy, guide early vendor choices, and work with engineering, data, security, and compliance to launch scalable solutions that empower cross-functional teams.

This senior IC role will grow into a leadership position as platforms mature. You will lead governance, analytics, and AI-driven workflows, replacing static BI with real-time

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management owning platform, data, and infrastructure
• Proven platform mindset delivering operating leverage
• Experience leading large data or platform migrations
• Knowledge of modern data architecture (warehouses, lakehouses) and ETL/ELT
• Experience building data governance into a platform (lineage, privacy, access)
• Understanding security, fraud and regulatory risks in AI for regulated industries
• Comfort working with code, prompts, and evaluation frameworks
• Ability to tie platform work to business outcomes
• Proven stakeholder influence without direct authority
• Experience building agentic workflows for scaled operations
• Managing model/token/inference costs for AI workloads
• Customer-facing or voice AI experience incl. auth, latency, handoff, compliance
• Applying AI to the software dev lifecycle
• Mentoring or leading product managers

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for the enterprise data platform, including architecture and success metrics
• Lead migration of data, ETL processes, and dashboards with minimal disruption
• Optimize replication, storage, and compute to reduce costs
• Own roadmap for enterprise data products/services used by multiple teams
• Enable agentic and natural language analytics for self-serve insights
• Own enterprise semantic layer and business glossary for BI and agents
• Define access models so agents see appropriate information
• Set vision and multi-year roadmap for enterprise agent harness platform
• Build reference workflows to demonstrate platform capabilities
• Enable teams to build and run workflows on the platform with scalable value
• Governance: safety, audit trails, thresholds, and compliance in AI systems
• Partner with Security, Compliance on governance, lineage, and privacy
