Job summary

Direct Supply, Inc. is seeking a Director of Customer Experience & Events to lead how customers experience the company in person, from visits and events to trade shows and executive engagements.

You will guide a team to scale a CX-focused events function and deepen customer relationships while aligning with business goals. The role emphasizes building standards, partnering across Marketing and Sales, and evolving CX at company locations to connect products and solutions with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading sophisticated B2B customer experience and events.
• 5+ years people leadership, building team capabilities and accountability for results.
• Track record of developing CX and event strategies and leading cross-functional work with senior leaders.
• Experience managing budgets and aligning investment priorities with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for Direct Supply’s CX and events portfolio, including customer events, visits, trade shows, sponsorships and executive engagements.
• Evolve the function from event execution to a broader CX capability with consistent standards and scalable processes.
• Lead CX strategy at Direct Supply locations, including Main Campus and Innovation & Technology Center.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and executive leaders to align CX priorities, plans and investments.
• Develop experiences connecting Direct Supply’s products and solutions to customers’ business needs.
• Lead trade show, sponsorship and external event strategy, including participation and investment priorities.
• Own the CX and Events budget and align priorities with VPs to manage spend.
• Establish reporting and measures of effectiveness using customer and business data.
• Identify opportunities to use technology, automation, and AI to improve planning, personalization, productivity and measurement.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, establishing expectations and accountability.
