Job summary

Credit First National Association is seeking an associate director to oversee Operations Audit, Compliance, Correspondence and Dispute Management, Payment Exception Processing, Mail Services, Payments, Credit Reporting and Operational Fraud.

You will lead process improvement, risk governance, and regulatory adherence while guiding the team toward accurate, timely operations and strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of operations management, compliance, audit, consumer disputes management, fraud, and optimization strategies.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear business implications.
• Demonstrated expertise in disputes, chargebacks, payments, and operations.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Independent and team-oriented; strong collaboration skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; regulatory adherence.
• Data analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations and internal policies.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Establish, review, analyze processes, and related performance metrics to ensure accuracy and timeliness for all operations related to support functions.
• Develop, implement, and ensure continuous improvement of workflow, methodologies, learning and performance, policies and procedures.
• Research, recommend, and implement fraud prevention technologies, policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Ensure SOPs are aligned with regulatory, legal, contractual, and internal control requirements.
• Lead the Operations Support Team to implement new or revised processes and solutions.
• Participate in Credit Operations business reviews and governance.
• Monitor fraud performance and regulatory compliance; recommend improvements.
• Train and develop the department to meet performance goals and policy standards.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends in regulatory, compliance, audit, and fraud areas.
• Collaborate with CFNA COEs to advance performance and financial opportunities.
