Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in banking loan operations, including processing, documentation, closing, funding, servicing, or related lending support functions.
• Experience leading loan operations employees and managing complex lending processes.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and consumer lending operations, documentation, collateral administration, and servicing practices.
• Experience establishing and maintaining procedures, internal controls, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Ability to collaborate with lending teams, Credit Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, and other banking functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of centralized loan operations functions, including processing, documentation, closing, funding, servicing, collateral administration, and related activities.
• Establish departmental goals, operating standards, performance expectations, service levels, and procedures.
• Ensure loan operations support across commercial, consumer, and real estate lending activities across markets and channels.
• Monitor performance, workloads, staffing, service levels, and quality; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee ongoing loan servicing activities including payment processing, servicing, and collateral administration.
• Establish controls and exception-management for servicing and collateral activities.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Credit Administration, IT and other stakeholders to address risks and regulatory changes.
