Job summary

New Engen, Inc. seeks an experienced leader to head Creator Operations, building and guiding a high-performing team across sourcing, negotiation, and end-to-end content delivery. You will drive innovation, including AI-powered tools, and partner with product and tech to shape the Creator Portal roadmap.

You will also act as a senior creator expert in client discussions, shaping program design and creator strategy from pitch to delivery, while growing a strategic center of excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in influencer/creator marketing with agency/brand experience.
• Proven ability to lead managers and high-performing teams.
• Deep fluency in creator ecosystem: sourcing, recruitment, contracting, rate structures, content delivery.
• Experience building scalable operating models and playbooks.
• Experience driving AI tools adoption to improve team workflows.
• Comfort as a product owner with tech/product teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Creator Operations and Build a High-Performing Team
Serve as the day-to-day leader of Creator Operations, owning the team’s performance, health, and direction. Lead and develop Managers and Sr. Managers, set clear expectations and operating rhythms, and build a culture of trust, accountability, and growth. Continue to evolve the standards, playbooks, and ways of working that define excellence across the function.

Own Operational Excellence and Delivery
Hold ultimate accountability for the quality, speed, and consistency of Creator Operations across sourcing and recruitment, contracting and negotiation, and end-to-end content delivery. Own capacity planning, resourcing, and forecasting across the function, proactively managing delivery risk and serving as the senior escalation point when complex client, creator, or program challenges arise.

Set Standards for Creator Partnerships
Define and maintain the quality bars, criteria, and operating standards that protect New Engen and our clients throughout the creator lifecycle. Bring deep expertise to complex creator negotiations, empowering the team to navigate contracts and partnerships effectively while building strong, long-term relationships with creators and their representatives.

Build the Innovation and AI Roadmap
Partner with the VP of Strategic Operations to shape and execute a multi-quarter innovation roadmap for Creator Operations. Identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered tools and workflows that improve efficiency, quality, and strategic value, while driving adoption across the team and continuing to evolve how we source, recruit, and partner with creators and agencies.

Own the Creator Portal Product Strategy
Serve as the lead product stakeholder for New Engen’s Creator Portal, partnering with technology teams to shape the product roadmap and prioritize high-impact improvements. Translate the needs of the team, clients, and broader Creator business into clear product requirements and champion adoption across the function.

Build a Strategic Center of Excellence
Help evolve Creator Operations from an executional function into a strategic center of excellence. Equip the team with the tools, frameworks, and expertise to become stronger strategic partners, while developing New Engen’s point of view on the evolving creator ecosystem through thought leadership, innovation, and new approaches to creator partnerships.

Partner with Clients and Sales at a Senior Level
Join key sales and client conversations as New Engen’s senior creator expert, helping shape program design and creator strategy from pitch through QBR. Build credibility with senior stakeholders, provide strategic perspective, and help ensure our creator capabilities are positioned to solve complex client needs.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 8+ years of experience in influencer/creator marketing, talent, or a closely related discipline, including significant experience owning creator or influencer program delivery at an agency or brand.
• Proven people leadership experience managing managers and building high-performing, high-accountability teams — with a track record of developing talent and shaping culture, not just managing output.
• Deep fluency in the creator and influencer ecosystem: creator tiers, sourcing and recruitment, negotiation and contracting, rate structures, and content delivery, plus a genuine point of view on where the space is heading.
• Demonstrated ability to build and improve operating models — the standards, playbooks, systems, and cadences that let a team scale delivery without losing quality.
• Experience driving innovation and change, including hands‑on adoption of AI tools and automation to improve how a team works.
• Comfort acting as a product owner or close partner to a technology/product team, translating team and client needs into prioritized roadmaps.
• Strong executive presence and client‑facing skills — able to represent the function credibly as a subject matter expert in sales, strategy, and executive conversations.
• A player/coach orientation: willing to roll up your sleeves on complex programs while building and empowering the leaders beneath you.

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 USD annually

Compensation for each opportunity is determined based on the applicable labor market, the scope and structure of the role or engagement, and the individual’s qualifications and experience.
