Cumming Group, a leading project and cost management consultancy, seeks a Director of Cost Management in Aliso Viejo, CA. Lead a team, grow the profit center, and manage client relations from preconstruction through closeout.

Requires 9–12 years in cost management with 5+ years leading client expectations and a business unit; MRICS or equivalent preferred. Strong leadership, BD, and strategic planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred).
• 9–12 years in Cost & Commercial Management; 5+ years leading client expectations and managing a business unit.
• MRICS/AssocRICS/CCP/CEP/CPE or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult executive-level clientele, showcasing services and opportunities for expansion.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional services agreements.
• Oversee quality of team output and coach for excellent performance.
• Grow revenue across diverse service offerings and markets.
• Accountable for fiscal performance and provide management reporting.
