Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management, engineering, or related field with 5+ years in construction business development.
• Alternatively, 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and secure profitable construction work.
• Experience with CRM and opportunity reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development plan aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, developers, and strategic partners.
• Evaluate opportunities for strategic fit and manage bid/no-bid decisions.
• Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline with scope, estimated value, stage, award likelihood, anticipated timing, and next actions.
• Coordinate pursuits with Preconstruction and business unit leaders to ensure accurate representation of NexGen’s delivery approach.
• Monitor market trends and adjust pursuit priorities to maximize growth potential.
