City of Pilot Point is seeking a Community Services Director to lead and direct the Community Services Department, ensuring alignment with sustainable development, public safety, and regulatory compliance. The Director advises the City Manager, City Council, and stakeholders on land use, development regulations, and community planning.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field (required).
• Minimum seven years in planning, building, permitting, or code compliance; at least three in supervisory roles.
• Master’s degree preferred; AICP certification; municipal/government experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership and management over planning, zoning, building inspections, code compliance, and permitting.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies to ensure efficient service delivery in line with laws.
