AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a Director of Commercial Sales for Smart Business Security. This role will drive the expansion of our Commercial Security and Integrated Building Systems division across nine states, leading Commercial AEs, SEs, and operations to build a high-margin recurring revenue business.

The position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in electronic security, robust leadership, and the ability to translate complex technology into compelling business

Qualifications

• Articulate executive communication; concise briefs and cross-functional storytelling.
• 10+ years in commercial leadership within electronic security, access control, or integrated building systems.
• 5+ years leading commercial sales teams, SEs, and sales ops.
• Proven ability to overhaul workflows, establish cross-functional SLAs, and accelerate revenue.
• Deep understanding of contract economics and gross margin protection.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Commercial Organization with cross-functional roles.
• Lead executive meetings and provide data-backed forecasts to leadership.
• Coach teams to present ROI-driven proposals to directors and owners.
• Drive monthly recurring revenue across intrusion, cloud video, access control, and smart building systems.
• Establish cross-functional handoffs between sales, SEs, deal admin, and project managers.
