Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines who will act as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will partner with senior leadership to standardize workflows, drive operational excellence, and guide M&A integration while supporting producers and account teams in delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has active P&C licensing, CPCU/CIC preferred, and 5–7+ years in a large broker

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• M&A integration and operational transformation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives to improve service delivery and organizational performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to boost efficiency and consistency.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing models and service demand to develop capacity plans.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and integration initiatives with operational assessments.
• Promote EPIC utilization and leverage technology for performance improvements.
