Job summary
BD is a leading global medical tech company seeking a Director of Commercial Excellence & Analytics in the USA RI - Warwick. The role drives performance via analytics, automation, AI enablement, and continuous improvement, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve forecasting, pipeline management, and decision making.
The leader will build and mentor analytics and commercial excellence teams, develop KPIs, and deploy scalable capabilities with governance for responsible AI
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years in commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, analytics, or related fields.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation and analytics initiatives.
- Experience building high-performing analytics or BI teams.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, forecasting, CRM, and commercial processes.
- Ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead BD Surgery's commercial excellence strategy aligned with priorities and standards.
- Improve sales force effectiveness via forecasting, pipeline management, and territory execution.
- Drive adoption of best practices, performance management, and governance.
- Deliver analytics, BI, and decision-support for commercial leadership.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to drive accountability and execution.
- Advance forecasting, segmentation, and opportunity identification capabilities.
- Develop automation and AI roadmap to reduce admin burden and improve productivity.
- Partner with IT and analytics teams to implement scalable capabilities.
- Establish governance for responsible AI adoption.
