Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Director of Commercial Data to own the strategy and build a trusted, AI-ready data foundation powering smarter decisions and scalable commercial operations through launch and beyond.

You will work at the intersection of Commercial, Data & Analytics, and IT to turn business priorities into high-impact data solutions, establish governance, and enable reliable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial data, analytics, or related roles within pharma or life sciences.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical/biotech commercial operations, including launches.
• Ability to translate priorities into a data strategy and investment roadmap.
• Experience establishing data governance and quality standards.
• Practical understanding of AI and automation for business use cases.
• Ability to partner with IT, data engineering, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and advance a trusted commercial data environment across customer, product, payer, patient, engagement, and other data domains.
• Establish requirements, ownership, and operating model to ensure data is connected, well-defined, high quality, accessible, and ready for analytics and AI.
• Advance commercial data readiness to support emerging AI capabilities.
• Partner with business, analytics, product, and tech teams to identify high-value opportunities and develop reusable capabilities.
• Lead a commercial data governance framework with clear ownership, quality standards, definitions, hierarchies, metrics, metadata, and rules.
• Monitor data quality, resolve root causes, and maintain trusted data as the business scales.
• Collaborate across Commercial, Data & Analytics, and IT to prioritize opportunities where data, analytics, automation, and AI improve decision-making.
• Translate priorities into actionable capabilities with clear ownership and measurable impact, driving adoption with internal teams and external partners.
