Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Director 2, Programs for Command Systems Hardware Design and Implementation lead in Roy, Utah. This executive role requires handling across hardware design, programmatic leadership, and DoD requirements, reporting within a dynamic BU environment.

The successful candidate will manage hardware teams, implement standardized design processes, ensure quality, and coordinate with customers and prime contractors while maintaining a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master's with 8 years' experience.
• Experience managing people and leading hardware teams.
• Experience designing and developing hardware and EVMS on hardware development programs.

Responsibilities

• Set vision for design engineering to execute hardware engineering for Sentinel CS BU.
• Establish and direct hardware engineering processes across CS Organization and multiple locations.
• Manage development across mission/weapon system hardware design, nuclear surety, and SDS program processes.
