Job summary

Enlyte is seeking a Director of Cloud Operations to lead the reliability, security, and cost efficiency of our AWS and Azure environments across the enterprise. This remote, full-time role partners with engineering, architecture, security, IAM, and compliance to deliver scalable cloud services.

You will own day-to-day operations, drive incident response, implement observability, governance, and FinOps, and guide service transitions from development to production while building a high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 10+ years in IT Operations, Cloud Operations, or similar.
• 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Strong ITSM, governance, incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with FinOps, automation, IaC, and service transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud operations organization; ensure reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Own day-to-day operation of AWS and Azure environments.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management with RCA.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and automated remediation.
• Drive FinOps and cost optimization; vendor performance and governance.
• Partner with engineering, security, IAM, messaging, DNS, network, and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
