Job summary

ClickUp seeks a director-level Cloud Platform leader to own the architecture, roadmap, and multi-region scaling of our infrastructure. You will collaborate with Product, AI, Enterprise, and Security to ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platform that accelerates enterprise adoption.

You will drive cost-aware governance, lead a senior distributed team across the US, Canada, and Europe, and align migration efforts with business goals while maintaining incident readiness and security

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with director-level experience.
• BS/MS in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven track record leading distributed teams across US/Canada/Europe.
• Expertise with AWS, EKS, VPC/TGW, and Terraform at scale.
• Strategic cloud roadmaps tied to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the cloud platform roadmap aligned to AI and Enterprise revenue goals.
• Migrate workloads to EKS and self-host critical services to reduce cost.
• Eliminate single points of ownership through cross-training and hiring.
• Lead security, compliance, and disaster recovery posture.
• Manage multi-million-dollar AWS spend and vendor oversight.
• Build and grow a senior-heavy, geographically distributed team.
