Job summary

Cepheid is looking for a Director of Clinical to lead the Clinical Solutions Field Sales in a remote position. This role requires over 5 years of experience in life sciences sales, particularly in genomic solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting sales targets exceeding $30M and must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences. A comprehensive benefits package is offered along with a salary range of $160,000 – $190,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience with genomic solutions and laboratory consumables.
• 3 years experience leading a sales team.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets in the $30M+ range.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop sales team towards performance targets.
• Establish strategies for market penetration while meeting operational standards.
• Manage sales pipeline using Salesforce.com.

Skills

Sales experience within life sciences

Understanding of diagnostics workflow (NGS)

Leadership and mentoring skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences

Master’s Degree or PhD in genomics or molecular biology
