Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a senior operations leader to manage the implementation of clinical operations plans and coordinate delivery of clinical services.

You will oversee advanced practice providers, patient service operations and scheduling, while facilitating new physician practice models across departments. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least five years in academic health centers or healthcare settings, and strong knowledge of physician

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of experience in an academic health center, hospital or healthcare industry setting.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of physician practice operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees advanced practice providers.
• Manages patient service operations.
• Oversees patient scheduling.
• Facilitates the implementation of new physician practice models for clinical operations.
• Coordinates the development of operational and space plans to support the physician practice models.
• Recommends adjustments as necessary.
• Assists with the coordination of new and existing programs.
• Assists with the design of integrated systems and processes to support clinical operations including registration, scheduling and electronic medical records.
• Assists in the implementation of the staffing model and the coordination of the clinical staff.
• Interacts with clinical departments on a regular basis.
• Maintains a service environment for faculty and staff.
• Develop, maintain and enhance good working relationships with external and internal constituents.
• Stays abreast of changing regulations that may impact clinical operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
