Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a senior leader to supervise and educate research coordinators across Functional Research Groups. You will oversee data quality, protocol implementation, and coordination with directors, oncologists, and study teams.

The role involves budgeting, staffing decisions, and strategic planning to ensure successful clinical trials across institutional, cooperative group, and industry-sponsored studies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Certifications: Not required for this position.
• Work Experience: Clinical Research experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Functional Research Groups and oversee staffing decisions.
• Orient and train staff; supervise performance and provide feedback.
• Plan budgets and evaluate new protocols for logistics and finances.
• Ensure quality data collection and regulatory compliance across studies.
• Coordinate meetings with directors, oncologists and study teams.
