Publicis Commerce in the United States is seeking a Director of Client Operations. This role ensures the team operates efficiently while upholding the highest quality standards, supporting the Lead and team by managing scoping, client finances, and establishing processes for best-in-class delivery in a hybrid setup.

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from one of our US offices (Detroit, Troy, Rogers AR, Chicago, or New York) to enable hybrid work and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field.
• 10+ years of marketing or operations experience; agency or project management experience preferred.
• Interest in the Operations discipline.
• Experience in retail is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressure.
• Ability to partner with Client Operations and Procurement.
• Ability to lead and drive alignment across teams and seniority levels.
• Proactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibility.
• Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team.
• Enthusiastic, solution-oriented attitude in accepting work/new challenges
• Desire to learn all aspects of the assigned client scope of work and tactics

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Lead on annual scope development and custom scope enhancements.
• Monitor staff allocation and budgets; flag scope changes and advise action.
• Ensure the team is funded and reporting 90% billable.
• Develop tools to assist scoping (e.g., AI/ Marilyn integration).
• Explore new roles or ways of working to meet client needs.
• Design and implement clear communications plans.
• Plan and lead weekly meetings for updates and issues.
• Support developing and contributing to QBRs.
• Design solutions to resolve issues.
• Coordinate input data from external sources and input into Marilyn.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with budgeting and staffing.
• Coordinate agenda/content for VP meetings.
• Onboard new team members and Clients.
• Deploy training to improve productivity (brief training).
• Maintain best practices forums.
