Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller BW Design Group seeks a Director of Client Development to lead capital programs for food & beverage manufacturing in DB/EPC settings. You will own bookings, pricing, and client relationships across multi-project initiatives, guiding preconstruction, design, and delivery with senior stakeholders.

You bring 15+ years in design-build or EPC, deep manufacturing know-how, and strong executive communication. Travel and leadership of large teams are expected responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading and delivering capital programs for manufacturing clients in DB/EPC environments.
• Deep understanding of food/beverage manufacturing operations and hygienic design.
• Executive-level communication with stakeholders; risk and commercial ownership.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams; ownership of scope, cost, schedule, margin.
• MBA/PMP or PE is a plus; GMP/cGMP and HACCP exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own bookings targets, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning for DB/EPC work.
• Engage executive stakeholders to align capital investment with growth and compliance.
• Lead pursuit strategy, go/no-go reviews, and contract negotiations with accountability.
• Coordinate internal SMEs to deliver integrated DB/EPC solutions across facilities.
• Serve as executive sponsor from execution to closeout, ensuring client satisfaction.
