Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Client Communications Director to lead the client communications strategy, translating complex claims and service data into clear client content. You will manage the content calendar, newsletters, and virtual events while collaborating with senior leaders across functions.

You will champion the voice of the customer, develop engaging presentations, and establish governance standards for newsroom and event content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads Sedgwick's client communications strategy and ensures messaging is consistent, clear, aligned with client needs, and reflective of the Sedgwick brand.
• Champions the voice of the customer by translating complex claims, service, and operational information into client-facing content.
• Owns the content calendar and production of client newsletters and other recurring client communications.
• Partners with leadership to identify client communication needs, priorities, risks, and opportunities across the lifecycle.
• Owns planning and execution of virtual client events, webinars, briefings, and post-event communications.
• Develops event content, speaking materials, and presentations for client audiences with subject experts.
• Manages the client services newsroom and coordinates across units to publish accurate content.
• Establishes governance and quality standards for newsroom and event content.
• Captures the voice of the customer through events, newsletters, surveys, and other touchpoints.
• Analyzes feedback and engagement to identify trends and opportunities; translates findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develops leadership reporting on reach, effectiveness, and business impact of communications and events.
• Collaborates on integrated campaigns and applies insights to improve segmentation and messaging.
• Manages multiple cross-functional initiatives while meeting deadlines.
• Builds relationships across functions to support communications objectives.
• Monitors industry practices to maintain a current, competitive approach.
• Provides consultation on content governance, approvals, and risk.
