Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking an Operations Director for Albertville Premium Outlets. The role oversees maintenance, safety, and facilities, directing on-site teams and contracted services to maximize shopper experience and tenant sales.

The position requires strong leadership, budgeting, and project management, with focus on asset preservation and adherence to Simon standards. Expect collaboration with internal teams and a focus on safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Operations, Facilities or Property Management.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, CAD drawings and other schematics.
• Meets commitments - produces accurate work.
• Solution oriented and results driven.
• Basic to moderate computer skills (email, excel, word, online order systems etc.).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop 5-year capital plan to maintain and enhance property assets.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and records.
• Ensure safety systems are up to code, maintained and inspected.
• Conduct daily property walk-throughs and address issues.
• Manage procurement within CAM and Capital Expenditure budgets.
• Control operating expenses and vendor invoices; manage variances.
• Coordinate capital projects with contractors and Development team.
• Lead maintenance staff and supervise contracted services.
