Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail real estate ownership, management and development, seeks an experienced mall leader at Carolina Premium Outlets. The role focuses on maximizing EBITDA through income sources, controlling costs, and driving leasing strategy and tenant relations.

The position requires strong budgeting, financial analysis and leadership capabilities, with responsibility for strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration to enhance center performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in shopping centers or equivalent retail environment.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with public speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Maximize EBITDA and income sources while controlling expenses.
• Manage net profit programs and leasing processes to drive results.
• Develop and implement a Strategic Business Plan for the center.
• Lead local leasing strategy from lead gen to tenant openings.
• Support Leasing Representatives in center leasing execution.
• Represent the company and build relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with government permit agencies to minimize delays.
• Collaborate with Security Provider to implement safety and emergency plans.
• Contribute to marketing plans to boost mall performance and SBV revenues.
• Maintain high standards for visual presentation and merchandising in retail zones.
• Develop and retain a skilled mall team and ensure policy adherence.
