Job summary

Simon Property Group seeks an Operations Director at Beverly Center to maximize the shopping experience by ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. You will oversee on-site maintenance, grounds, custodial teams, and contracted services while aligning with Simon standards.

The role involves developing long-range capital plans, managing budgets, and leading maintenance staff to protect asset value and customer safety in a premier retail center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operations, facilities or property management experience.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, CAD drawings and other schematics.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Basic to moderate computer skills (email, excel, word, online order systems etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develop 5-year capital plan to maintain and enhance property assets.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and logs.
• Manage property operating expenses within or below budget levels.
• Coordinate construction and contracted services; manage bids and service agreements.
• Lead maintenance staff and safety programs; ensure OSHA/ADA/EPA compliance.
