Job summary

Simon Property Group seeks an experienced Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of property operations at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets. You will lead facilities management, maintenance, budget development, and sustainability efforts, coordinating with tenants, contractors, and corporate teams to protect asset value and deliver a premier shopper experience.

The role requires 5+ years in property operations, with strong leadership, project management, and knowledge of building systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in property operations, facilities management, CRE, retail, or related industry.
• Experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and life safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day property operations, maintenance, and facility management.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; identify efficiencies.
• Oversee building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety).
• Manage capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Direct third-party service providers to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements.
• Partner with management, security, housekeeping, and leasing teams.
• Drive sustainability and energy management initiatives.
• Support tenant openings, renovations, relocations, and redevelopment.
