Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline plc in Stevenage is seeking a Director–level Clinical Pharmacologist with cardiovascular and metabolic disease expertise. The role leads Model‑Informed Drug Development across the asset lifecycle and reports to RIIRU within CPQM, with potential relocation to Cambridge, UK by 2029.

Key responsibilities include designing MIDD strategies, drafting regulatory content for FDA/EMA, and collaborating with CPQM digital medicine, imaging and biostatistics teams to accelerate patient

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or PharmD degree required.
• 5+ years of industry experience in clinical pharmacology, modelling and simulation.
• Experience in pharmacometrics and its application to drug development.

Responsibilities

• Design & execute MIDD and ClinPharm strategies across RIIRU programs.
• Draft and review regulatory content to support approvals and labeling.
• Collaborate with CPQM teams (digital medicine, imaging, data science) and cross functional partners.
