Job summary

GSK in Stevenage, temporarily based there with relocation planned to Cambridge, UK, seeks a Senior Director of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases, Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation. You will lead Model-Informed Drug Development across the drug lifecycle, shaping pharmacology strategy and evidence generation.

You will partner with RIIRU and CPMS to align priorities, design robust studies, ensure regulatory readiness, and drive cross-functional collaboration across biology, data

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/PharmD required.
• 8+ years of industry experience in clinical pharmacology, modelling/simulation and drug development.
• Experience in pharmacometrics and its application to clinical questions.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a cross functional environment.
• Experience in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases therapy areas.

Responsibilities

• Design & Execute Model Informed and Clinical Pharmacology strategies.
• Coordinate CPMS activities across RIIRU and CPQM.
• Ensure regulatory-ready evidence and reporting across RIIRU portfolio.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with CPQM, data science, and biology teams.
• Engage externally to raise GSK's profile in MIDD and regulatory forums.
