Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Director-level Clinical Pharmacologist with cardiovascular and metabolic disease expertise to lead Model Informed Drug Development (MIDD) across the drug development lifecycle. The role sits within CPQM/CPMS R&I and reports to RIIRU, focusing on strategy, evidence generation and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or PharmD with industry experience.
• Experience applying pharmacometrics to clinical questions.
• Strong collaboration and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute Model Informed Drug Development (MIDD) strategies.
• Draft regulatory content and ensure regulatory readiness for approvals and labeling.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across CPQM, biology, data science and clinical teams.
• Lead external engagement and scientific leadership in MIDD, QSP and AI/ML integration.
