Job summary

Dignity Health - Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Director of Cardiac Services to build and lead a new cardiac program during its construction phase. You will oversee planning, staffing, education, and program development to meet regulatory standards for the Cath Lab/IR suites and future growth pathways.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in hospital or medical group leadership operations at the administration level.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA preferred.
• Master’s Degree or other comparable Post Graduate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight to the new cardiac services program, including program development and management.
• Serve as liaison between senior leadership, medical staff, nursing personnel, hospital employees and outside vendors.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure policies, procedures and practices meet accreditation and certification requirements.
