Job summary

Earthjustice is seeking a strategic, collaborative fundraising leader to direct a transformational $1B+ comprehensive campaign. The Director, Campaigns will shape strategy, align priorities, and lead enterprise-wide planning from vision to execution.

This role partners with trustees, volunteers, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success. Reporting to the Development Leadership Team, this leader will guide campaign strategy, performance, volunteer engagement, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years nonprofit fundraising experience, including leadership of large-scale campaigns.
• 5+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success securing and closing complex principal and major gifts.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of Earthjustice's multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign.
• Develop campaign vision, case for support, funding priorities, milestones, and structure.
• Direct campaign planning, feasibility, pacing, forecasting, and readiness.
• Manage campaign consultants and external advisors.
• Drive revenue strategy, forecasting, and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and frontline fundraisers on cultivation and stewardship of transformational gifts.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and evaluation processes to guide decisions.
