Job summary

Her Justice, a New York nonprofit, seeks a strategic Director of Development to drive growth and diversify funding from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Head of Philanthropy & Financial Strategy, you will lead major gifts and coordinate with campaigns, events, and communications to advance mission impact.

The role requires a track record of transforming fundraising programs, building donor pipelines, and guiding teams to achieve ambitious

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive fundraising, development, or philanthropic partnership experience.
Demonstrated track record of cultivating, soliciting, and securing five- or six-figure gifts.
Experience building major gifts and fundraising strategies that grow revenue.

Responsibilities

Design and execute strategy to grow annual revenue from $8M to $10–12M over five years.
Supervise and mentor two direct reports within the development team.
Grow corporate, foundation, and government funder relationships and maximize donor stewardship.
Oversee fundraising systems, data reporting, and pipeline management to inform strategy.
