Job summary

Molex is seeking a dynamic Director of Cable Products Segment to increase revenue, profits, and market share within the Cable Assembly segment, as part of the Molex Power and Signal Business Unit. The Director will lead a global team of Group Product Managers, Business Development Managers and Product Managers, developing business plans, driving sales, and exceeding customer needs to reach growth levels.

This role requires travel nationally and internationally and close collaboration with sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline such as engineering.
• 5+ years’ sales or marketing experience.
• 5+ years’ people management experience.
• Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of Group Product Managers, Business Development Managers and Product Managers to develop and implement strategic directions.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue, share, profit, and ROCC goals.
• Participate in quote processes, costing, and pricing analysis for major programs.
• Drive cross-functional engagement with global plant operations, manufacturing engineering, sourcing, and supply chain.
• Prepare reports and tracking documents relative to meeting performance goals and forecasting revenue and profit.
