This will be a remote role working out of your home office in the United States, preferably in EST or CST zones. This role will be specific to our Progress Federal Solutions group.

We seek a strategic Director of Business Operations to oversee and optimize back-office functions for PFS, serving as a key leader similar to a Chief of Staff, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with business goals.

This individual will collaborate with HR, Marketing, IT, and Finance teams, acting as a liaison between PFS and Progress to align strategies and streamline processes.

Operational Leadership

In this role, you will:

  • Lead daily operations across HR, Finance, Marketing, and IT.
  • Design and refine operational policies to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Advise executive leadership on operational infrastructure and planning.
  • Coordinate between PFS and Progress teams on processes and tools.
Human Resources
  • Support employee experience while ensuring policy compliance.
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and compliance efforts.
Finance
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in partnership with Finance.
  • Improve procurement, controls, and vendor management.
Marketing
  • Align marketing initiatives with company strategy.
  • Enhance communication and process efficiency within marketing.
Information Technology
  • Supervise IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity.
  • Lead digital transformation projects and technology assessments.
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership in business operations or related fields.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-growth or matrix environments.
  • Strong strategic, operational, and communication skills.
