RISE Pediatric Therapies is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment. Early Intervention programs support families of children from birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs by assisting with learning developmental skills such as motor and language, facilitate engagement in activities, routines and events of everyday life.
PURPOSE:
The Director of Business Operations plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the organization, with a focus on budget management, employee relations, compliance, and overall operational efficiency. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of high-quality ABA services by ensuring a well-managed and productive organizational environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Management & Budgeting
Develop, manage, and oversee the annual budget.
Monitor financial performance and ensure operations are aligned with financial targets.
Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to forecast revenue and manage expenses.
Ensure accurate billing, reimbursement, and compliance with funding sources (e.g., insurance).
Employee Relations
Partner with HR to lead employee relations initiatives and promote a positive work culture
Provide leadership in resolving employee conflicts and concerns in alignment with organizational policies
Oversee performance management systems, including evaluations, coaching, and professional development.
Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day non-clinical operations of ABA services.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve service delivery and organizational efficiency.
Manage administrative functions including facilities, procurement, and IT coordination.
Lead quality improvement and risk management initiatives to support clinical and operational goals.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Collaborate with executive leadership to set strategic priorities and execute business plans.
Analyze operational performance data and recommend improvements.
Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and new service lines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge of ABA services, healthcare billing practices, and compliance standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in budgeting, data analysis, and performance management.
