Director, Business Development & Capital Markets - Tax Credits

Location: Remote

Piper Maddox is partnered with a high-performing, entrepreneurial renewables advisory team within a global investment platform. They are looking to hire a Director of Business Development & Capital Markets to help lead and execute transactions.

The role spans capital markets, tax equity, transferable tax credits, and M&A advisory work. You’ll work closely with the team lead and have ownership in driving both transactions and strategy. The current pipeline includes utility-scale solar, distributed generation (DG), energy storage, and manufacturing-related credits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead active transactions across tax equity, transferable credits, and capital markets.
• Engage directly with clients (developers and corporates) to execute capital solutions.
• Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to deliver new services.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences and support ongoing business development.
