Business Development Director – Clinical Trial Logistics
Are you an experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in Clinical Trial Logistics? Do you have the drive and expertise to identify opportunities, generate leads, and close high-value projects with CROs, pharma sponsors, and biotech organisations across the US?
We are seeking a Business Development Director to join a fast-growing company specializing in Clinical Trial Logistics.
This is a remote role based in the US, reporting to the VP of Sales.
This organisation is a global leader in specialised clinical trial logistics, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences industries. They’re backed by an extensive global network and offer tailored logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive new business development efforts within the clinical trial logistics sector.
• Identify and engage potential clients, including CROs, pharmaceutical sponsors, and biotech companies.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy, from lead generation to closing high-value deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover to Project Managers.
• Build strong client relationships and understand their logistics needs.
What We’re Looking For:
• A proven track record in business development and sales.
• Experience in Clinical Trial Logistics (e.g., project management, inside sales, or operations).
• Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and execute sales strategies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a remote sales territory and work across the United States.
