Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people, process, and business delivery leadership, with successful team management experience. This role is not suitable for individuals without prior leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of 6-10 associates.
  2. Drive business delivery and process improvement initiatives.
  3. Manage large-scale project portfolios, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  4. Demonstrate a proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in people leadership and team management.
  2. Strong background in business delivery and process leadership.
  3. Expertise in process improvement and lean methodologies.
  4. Experience managing large-scale project portfolios.
  5. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  6. Humble, curious, and eager to learn.
  7. Experience in financial services, insurance, or retirement solutions is a plus but not required.

This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

Additional Role Details:

As a Director, you will lead process modeling, analysis, and design efforts, and contribute to business transformation initiatives. You will oversee activities related to business performance management, organizational design, and risk management, developing transformation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead business transformation strategies involving people, processes, and technology.
  2. Manage staff consulting on business analysis, needs assessments, and system planning.
  3. Lead process management initiatives and communicate with stakeholders.
  4. Define performance success criteria and apply measurement tools.
  5. Advise on organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, and change management.
  6. Oversee training on trends to improve business performance.
  7. Evaluate technological developments and recommend system improvements.
  8. Develop business cases and identify risks related to operating models.
  9. Manage team performance, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President/Vice President, managing 6-15 team members.

Qualifications:

Education: Undergraduate degree in relevant fields; graduate studies preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in business transformation, process modeling, and project management; 5+ years in people management.

Skills: Expertise in business process management, project management, organizational design, and change management. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Other: Leadership qualities, ability to influence, and experience managing high-impact projects.

Additional Information:

Work conditions include normal office environment with occasional travel. This is an exempt position not eligible for overtime. The application deadline is 07/03/2025, but early applications are encouraged.
