Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Director, ECO Technology & Data to drive BSA/AML data, technology, analytics, and monitoring across the program. You will partner with Compliance, Technology, Risk, and business lines to deliver scalable solutions that meet regulatory expectations.

You will lead the rule development program for transaction monitoring, ensure governance with Model Risk Management, and advance AI-enabled capabilities while maintaining necessary oversight.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking with BSA/AML data or analytics.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, sanctions, watchlist screening.
• Experience with BSA/AML technology platforms such as Verafin, Bridger, Oscilar.
• Proven leadership of analytics functions and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in fast‑paced regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for BSA/AML data, technology, analytics, and monitoring.
• Lead BSA/AML data/tech needs across Compliance, Technology, Risk, and other teams.
• Own performance and evolution of BSA/AML technology and third‑party integration.
• Lead large‑scale implementations for case investigations, monitoring, KYC, sanctions, watchlists.
• Build and manage the rule development program for monitoring and analytics.
• Partner with Model Risk Management on governance and validations.
• Own data requirements across risk assessments, reporting, and regulatory inquiries.
• Apply AI and automation with governance and human oversight.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team.
