HERS Breast Cancer Foundation is seeking a full-time Program Director who will oversee patient programs, staff, budgeting, and vendor relations across Fremont and San Leandro locations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 4–6 years of program management experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise mastectomy fitter trainees and ensure certification within 6 months.
• Supervise fitting services and handle patient escalations as needed.
• Hire/train Insurance Specialist, Appointment Scheduler, and Medical Receptionist; ensure adherence to policies.
• Establish procedures for referral, eligibility, scheduling, intake, fitting, dispensing, and documentation.
• Set annual program revenue targets and manage inventory and margins.
• Coordinate with Executive Director on patient assistance programs and ensure timely dispensing and fund application.
• Oversee continuing education and compliance with HIPAA and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate insurance contract changes and billing with staff and vendor.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field
