Job summary
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Director of Business Development to build the BD function for an early-stage exosome-based therapy company. You will lead out-licensing, partnerships, and strategic collaborations, shaping the commercial strategy from early diligence to deal execution.
In this hands-on senior role, you will identify and engage pharmaceutical and biotech partners, develop compelling business cases, and work with legal, scientific, and operations teams to advance
Qualifications
- 8+ years in business development, corporate development, licensing, or related function in biotech/pharma.
- Sourcing, negotiating, and closing licensing, partnership, or collaboration transactions.
- Evaluating commercial potential of early-stage biotech or pharmaceutical assets.
- Financial modeling and valuation for early-stage assets; risk-adjusted metrics.
Responsibilities
- Own out-licensing and partnering strategy for pipeline programs.
- Identify and prioritize potential pharma/biotech partners.
- Develop commercial cases including market opportunity and partnering strategy.
- Lead partner outreach, diligence, and transaction discussions to a definitive agreement.
- Collaborate with legal, scientific, and financial leaders to structure deals.
- Represent the company at conferences and with prospective partners.
